You never have to use an ugly plastic trash can ever again. Seriously. What’s even better, is that we will customize this can for you any way you want. We have requests daily for new themes. A favorite sports team, a home decor theme or maybe you just like things simple…. we can do that. We can do all of that. A lot can be said for home decor. It speaks to who we are, who we aspire to be and what our interests are. Will and Lindsey work with each client to find what fits their needs. The Finger Lakes Crafted husband & wife partnership was created in 2013. It began with only selling Adirondack chairs and custom wooden wastebaskets. Since then, the duo has added many more items to their repertoire.
FLX Crafted exudes creativity and originality in the pieces produced. From home decor to functionality, every piece that comes out of the workshop is made with love, passion and joy. Custom fine furniture is their signature.
William Tidd is a graduate of SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY and has lived in the Finger Lakes his entire life. He grew up in the quiet town of Rushville, NY where his love for building and creating began. Will always had a passion for woodworking and learned many of his skills straight from the hands of his grandfather. Today, he loves being in the workshop whenever he can and loves taking on new and exciting challenges!
Lindsey Tidd is a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Illustration. She has also lived in the Finger Lakes her entire life. Lindsey grew up in the small quiet town of Stanley, NY. Her love and passion for the fine visual arts was strong as a small child. She loved to draw and paint regularly. Growing up surrounded by such beautiful landscapes of the Finger Lakes, there was never a moment where inspiration was hard to find. Lindsey specializes in graphic typography, figure and landscape drawing/painting and is always excited when a customer requests a custom piece!
